PLEASE READ CAREFULLY ALL THE TERMS AND CONDITIONS BEFORE SIGNING THE INDEMNITY FORM DURING REGISTRATION

AGE LIMIT

It must be adhered to strictly and the organisers reserve the right to verify the age of participants before, during and after the race.

ACCEPTANCE OF ENTRIES

  • Only one entry per person is allowed. Multiple applications will be rejected.
  • Ensure all submitted information is true and complete. False or misleading details will lead to rejection.
  • Submitting your application means you accept all terms & indemnity rules. For minors, a guardian must accept these on their behalf.
  • Participants of 77 KM & 42 KM categories must provide previous race details and finisher certificates.
  • All participants (or guardians for minors) must sign the Risk & Indemnity Agreement.

ENTRIES NOT ACCEPTED

  • If eligibility documents are found to be incorrect.
  • If any information is false or invalid.
  • Such entries will be cancelled and informed accordingly.

ARRIVAL & ACCLIMATISATION

Participants agree to arrive in Spiti as per guidelines. Acclimatisation is mandatory for safety.

CANCELLATION / CATEGORY CHANGE / DEFERMENT

  • Cancellation allowed till 5th September 2024 via email to admin@spitimarathon.in and WhatsApp to organisers.
  • If rejected, you’ll be informed.
  • Failure to collect BIB or medical unfitness will result in disqualification.
  • Category change allowed until 5th September 2024 via official email request.

BIB NUMBER & COLLECTION

  • BIBs must be collected in person.
  • Entries/BIBs are non-transferable.
  • BIB must be visible and unaltered during the race.
  • No one else should wear your BIB.
  • Violators will be disqualified and barred from future events.
  • Write your emergency info on the back of the BIB.

BIB Collection dates: Listed on individual race pages. Plan accordingly.

TIMING CHIPS

  • All races will use timing chips attached to BIBs.
  • Must be worn from start to finish to register your time.
  • Do not wear someone else’s chip or you’ll be disqualified.

CODE OF CONDUCT

  • Follow all instructions from organisers, marshals, and volunteers.
  • Show respect to fellow runners and locals.
  • Organisers can disqualify anyone violating rules.
  • Respect Army zones – maintain discipline at all times.
  • Unruly behavior will result in disqualification.
  • Due to terrain and proximity to LAC, changes may occur in race logistics (distance, date, route, etc.).
  • Changes will be communicated on the website.
  • Participants are responsible for their own accommodation and food unless otherwise informed.

OFFICIAL TIME & NET TIME

Participants finishing within the cut-off will receive both official and net time (from start to finish).

FITNESS & MEDICAL

Only medically and physically fit individuals should participate. Anyone with chronic conditions such as heart issues or high BP should refrain. The organisers reserve the right to disqualify unfit individuals.

EVENT CANCELLATION

If cancelled due to force majeure or unforeseen circumstances, registrations will be carried forward to the next event date.

CHANGES TO THE EVENT

  • Organisers may modify the course or event details as needed.
  • Such changes will be shared with participants.
  • Reduced course still qualifies as an official event.

APPLICATION FORM

The application and benefits thereof are non-transferable. Only the registered individual is entitled to participate and claim associated benefits.
